Once common these Nodules from the Great Burra Mine in South Australia are now hard to find.

This one was collected in the 1970's and is a good representative specimen.

The Malachite has coated the Azurite ball giving a lovely contrast that these nodules are so famous for. Partially exposed the vivid blue azurite highlights the specimen making it very attractive.

It measures 5.5cm x 5cm and weighs 80 grams
